The parking lot repair will begodistchurch/in on Thursday, October 1st @ Noon through October 3rd.
The parking lot will close after 11:30 preschool pickup and remain closed through Saturday. It will be opened and ready to go for Sunday worship on the 4th.
We invite all our young friends to join us on Sunday, October 4th for a special “Blessing of the Stuffies” during Young Theologians. Bring your favorite stuffie to church for a special blessing!
A TIME OF THANKSGIVING: On Sunday,October 4th, when we come together to celebrate the Lord’s Supper, old energies are to be centered on the marvelous works of grace God has so extravagantly given us. Communion is also often referred to as the Eucharist, or The Great Thanksgiving. The most important thing we do when we come to the Communion Table is say, “Thanks!” to Christ for the gift of mercy.
World Communion Sunday reminds us that we are all part of the global Body of Christ. This world would really be enhanced if all focused on that which is held in common rather than differences, Holy Communion reunites the Church. “Because there is one loaf, we who are many, are one body in Christ.”
To give, please make checks payable to Prospect UMC with “World Communion Sunday” on the memo line. Giving envelopes for cash donations will be available at the Welcome Desk and upon entering the Sanctuary.

Bible Study: The Salt, Soil, Seawater: Creation in Christ Bible Study will be offered at Northwest UMC on Tuesdays, Sept 1-Oct 6, 10-11am
The prayer stations will remain available throughout the Season of Creation (the month of September) at Northwest UMC.
Times during the week to visit include: Tuesdays, 10am-12:30pm & Thursdays, 9-11am
Help needed to unload food into the pantry at 1:30pm.

Food donations can be dropped off to Dani Monday-Thursdays from Noon-2:00 or you can drop off donations on Sundays in the cart by the Welcome Desk.
Monetary Donations are always welcome! Give now by clicking on the DONATE button on the header or text: PUMCGIVE to 73256. Checks can be made payable to PUMC with “food pantry” on the memo line. You can leave donations in the offering on Sundays or send them in to the church.
